Welcome to the Hoover Y

Opened in 2011, the Hoover YMCA, was the result of a dream by former long-time YMCA President and CEO Jim Lombard. Working with Hoover city officials and business leaders, the Hoover Y opened to an energetic, and full membership base which it has sustained to this day.

Pool Hours

Pool closes 15 minutes prior to branch

Hoover features a year-round outdoor recreational/lap pool and a seasonal children’s splash pad area.
