Homeschool PE focuses on developing essential movement skills through fun, engaging activities that promote physical fitness and coordination. Students participate in various exercises and games designed to improve balance, agility, strength, and endurance while fostering a love for staying active.

Youth Fitness and Strength

Youth Fitness Fundamentals
This class introduces pre-teens to the essentials of a healthy fitness journey, covering weight training, cardio, and coordination in a fun, supportive setting. Perfect for those new to exercise, participants will learn foundational skills to boost strength, flexibility, and balance, building confidence along the way.

Youth Strength Training
Strength Training offers an opportunity for all youth, regardless of their current activity level, to improve their muscle strength, enhance their motor coordination, and gain confidence in their ability to be physically active. This program will provide proper training guidelines and introduce various options to create a safe, effective, and FUN experience for children and teens.

Youth Fitness Orientations

Free Orientation for our Youth Members ages 9-13.  
The purpose of the program is to teach safety, proper exercise technique, and gym etiquette.  The program is facilitated by YMCA fitness staff. Upon completion, the student will receive a wristband that allows them to use specific cardio and selectorized machines.
