Welcome to the Pelham Y

The Pelham YMCA was established in 1997 as a result of a joint venture between the Birmingham YMCA and Shelby Baptist Medical Center.  The facility was designed with the entire family in mind and boasts over 41,000 square feet of facilities including areas for health and wellness, childcare, sports and programs for youth, teens, adults, and seniors.

Monday – Thursday: 5:00am – 9:00pm
Friday: 5:00am – 8:00pm
Saturday: 8:00am – 6:00pm
Sunday: 12:00pm – 6:00pm

Holiday Hours

Pool closes 15 minutes prior to branch

Pelham features a seasonal outdoor recreational pool with a zero entry area, an outdoor baby pool, and a heated indoor pool. Lanes always available for Lap Swimming
