The variety of programs we offer means that youth and teens with all sorts of interests can explore and experience in a fun environment! Programs engage youth and teens in creative activities that build artistic and academic skills, develop discipline, problem-solving and decision-making skills, and a sense of achievement and self-esteem.

Art Creations (ages 7-12)

Teen Self Defense (ages 13-18)
Develop the skills that you need to defend yourself in times of need. In this 7 week course, you will be able to learn ways to enhance your focus and use your instincts to protect yourself and your family. Y Cooking Essentials (ages 12-18)
YCE is a 7-week cooking essentials class designed to equip youth ages 12-18 with the skills needed in everyday meal preparation. Each week there will be a focus on specific skills such as knife use, reading a recipe, and measuring of ingredients. These skills will be used each week to prepare a specific dish. The recipes will be compiled and given to each participant at the end of the 7-week course. (Winter Session I & II)

Tiny Tots will be led by a qualified instructor that has a clear understanding of the sport and has been trained in our childcare policies. Parent involvement is required for Tiny Tots 3-4 years old. Participants will learn good habits such as warming up, organization, teamwork, and an appreciation for the sport. Basketball for this age should be special with an emphasis on fun. Tiny Tots will be led by a qualified instructor that has a clear understanding of the sport and has been trained in our childcare policies. Parent involvement is required for Tiny Tots 3-4 years old.Come prepared: Your child should wear comfortable athletic clothing. Closed toe shoes are required. (Winter Session II)

Strength Training-Level 1 (ages 9-13, 14-18)
Regular participation in a youth strength-training program can offer health, fitness and performance benefits for children and young adolescents, as it offers an opportunity for all youth, regardless of their current level of activity, to improve their muscle strength, enhance their motor coordination and gain confidence in their ability to be physically active. This seven-week program will provide proper training guidelines and introduce a variety of training options to create a safe, effective, and FUN experience for children and teens.

Once completed, participants will have a basic understanding of proper strength training techniques and proper use of strength training equipment. (Winter Session I)

Strength Training-Level 2 (ages 9-13, 14-18)
Regular participation in a youth strength-training program can offer health, fitness and performance benefits for adolescents, as it offers an opportunity for all youth, regardless of their current level of activity, to improve their muscle strength & technique, enhance their motor coordination and gain confidence in their ability to be physically active. This seven-week program will provide proper training guidelines and introduce a variety of training options to create a safe, effective, and FUN experience. Level II takes a more in-depth look at strength training and muscle building, as well as fundamentals of cardiovascular exercise. In addition to instructor-led workout sessions, participants will receive classroom instruction on basic human anatomy and physiology, as well as basic nutrition.

Once completed, participants will have basic knowledge of overall fitness training, body composition, macro and micro nutrients, as well as major muscle groups and corresponding exercises. (Winter Session II)

Tots N Squats (caregiver + child up to age 3)
This class is for ALL caregivers and babies under the age of three! Whether you are a Mom, Dad, Nanny, Grandparent etc. We would love for you to join. Tots N’ Squats uses simple body weight exercises, while finding creative ways to involve your little ones in the workout! We will play, dance, and just have fun moving our bodies. Your child will learn computational thinking and problem solving skills through active games as well as hands-on learning. Each week a specific skill will be taught, such as Digital Footprints/Internet Safety; Context Setting; Sequential Algorithms; Debugging Process; Use of “Loops” and the “Right App”.
