Supporting Afterschool Care

Every afternoon, when the school bell rings, working families need to know their children have a safe, supportive place to go. YMCA Afterschool programs provide dependable care, academic support, and meaningful connections during the hours that matter most.

Your gift helps ensure that cost is never a barrier to access for families in your community, because every child should have a safe place to go after school. Join us in making afterschool care possible for all.

Play It Forward - Kids Night Out

Your participation makes a difference. All proceeds for the night support families who need financial assistance to access afterschool care at Hoover City Schools and Trussville City Schools.
Kids want to play too, so let’s play it forward! Enjoy a night out or an evening off while your child has a fun, safe evening brought to you by YMCA staff. This evening of supervised care includes dinner, crafts, games, and lots of fun.
