Step 2. Choose Your Membership Type

A few things to help in the selection of your membership type | 1. Individuals on the same membership must reside in the same household and/or be qualifying legal dependents. | 2. Individuals age 12-18 electing a Teen plan must be enrolled by a legal guardian agreeing to the Terms and Conditions provided during the joining process. Parent/Guardian must also be listed inactive on the account including name and contact information. | 3. Memberships joining using a Corporate Promo Code should join using their company email address for quick verification. | 4. The Online Joining process will assess the applicable Join Fee and prorated Membership Dues based on your join date. Any qualifying scholarships, discounts, add-ons, or other adjustments may be applied after the joining process if a Promo Code is not used. | 5. FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY: Membership dues, Join fees, and program fees are subject to change. By proceeding, you agree to authorize the YMCA of GREATER BIRMINGHAM to make recurring charges for Membership Dues on the selected/applicable membership type on the 1st of each month on the payment method provided. Returned payments will be subject to a $15 return fee and (up to) 3 additional payment attempts. Charges will continue until notification/request to cancel is received in writing at businessoffice@ymcabham.org or www.ymcabham.org/request-account-change/. Receipts may be obtained via your online account. After the initial 30-day period, membership resignation shall be effective thirty (30) days after receipt of written notification and payment of all sums which have become due and payable up to resignation.
