My name is Andrea Pindroh, and I am the Healthy Living Director as well as a Personal Trainer at the Greystone YMCA. I graduated from Slippery Rock University with an Exercise Science degree. I am certified through the American College of Sports Medicine as a Certified Exercise Physiologist. My passion for health and fitness began very young because I played sports and loved learning about the body. My name is Kristian Kirchner, and I am a Health Coach and Personal Trainer at the Greystone YMCA. I have a Masters Degree in Education from the University of Alabama, and taught for 15 years before changing careers and becoming a Certified Personal Trainer. I am certified through International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA) and have been a Personal Trainer for almost 5 years. My passion for health and fitness began at a young age and I enjoy making people feel comfortable and confident in the gym while encouraging and educating them as they achieve their goals. My Name is Scott Hults and I am a Health Coach and Personal Trainer at the Greystone YMCA. I am a retired US Navy Captain. I earned a Masters degree in Education from New York University. I am certified through the National Federation of Personal Trainers (NFPT). My passion for health and fitness began more than 20 years-ago and I get my greatest satisfaction from helping others achieve their fitness goals. I am a master professional (73 years-of-age) athlete, and to me, age is a statistic and not a burden. The Intensity Scale below is provided to assist with class selection based on your current conditioning level and need. However, all classes will involve professional instruction on ways to adjust the intensity level in order to Modify or Intensify based on individual class participant needs – If Intensity is not listed in class name, the default is Intermediate.

Does your 10 year old want to workout with weights like mom and dad but know they have to be 14 to do so?
Not anymore! We offer a Youth Strength and Conditioning class designed to teach children ages 10-14 the benefits of strength/cardio training and how to use the equipment saftely and properly. Children will be coached by a certified personal trainer for 3-one hour sessions that you schedule at your convenience.
Once your child passes the class, he/she will receive a yellow wrist band that they are required to wear every time they come to the Y to workout. If they do not have their wrist band, for their safetyl, if they are under 14 years of age they will be asked to exit the weight/cardio room.
When: Days and times that are convenient with your schedules.
Where: The personal trainer will meet you and your child at the front desk.
Cost: $50 for 3-one hour sessions

Assistant Tennis Pro at the Greystone YMCA
I Graduated from Huntingdon College with my Bachelor's in Sports Management in May of 2017. I played as high as #2 singles and #1 doubles my senior year and getting to play college tennis was a great experience for me. I am a Certified Teaching Professional through the PTR. Play regular size tennis nets, use of Red, Orange, and Green balls. Some games, contests, scoring, and starting to rally back and forth with each other using the full court. Understanding and practicing singles and doubles for juniors team tennis. (Must have a minimum of 4 players for a clinic)
The Challengers program is for ages 11-14. This is for intermediate players and is intended to provide players with a basic understanding of stroke production, footwork, and beginning match play. In Challengers, students are encouraged to play team tennis and tournaments designated by their GSY coach.
Must have the desire to learn the basic strokes or already be able to rally and control your strokes. Play regular size tennis nets, use of regular yellow balls. Must be committed and coachable to improving their tennis game to try out for a school tennis team. Students in Junior Academy are encouraged to play USTA team tennis and tournaments. (Must have a minimum of 4 players for a clinic)

• To reserve a court, you MUST have the Tennis Membership Add-On fee on top of your regularly monthly Birmingham Y membership. These two memberships are different.
Tennis add on fee is... $11 for individual membership, $16 for two people membership, and $19 for family membership.
If you are interested in adding a Tennis Membership to your account please obtain a Membership Change Form from either the welcome center or contact the Business Office at email@example.com
If you would NOT like to add the tennis add on to your membership, you can NOT reserve a court, but may use our courts, if available. You will have to pay $7 guest fee, each time you come to play.
• All courts may be reserved for a maximum of 1.5 hours under one name. Any additional 30 minutes must be booked in another tennis membership's name.
A court reservation may be made up to one week in advance. If you call the day of the desired day that you would like to reserve, you may or may not get a court dependant on the day.
When booking a court, please have ready: You last name, first initial, and member number (the barcode located on the back of your scan card).
• If a Tennis Member decides to bring a guest, a tennis guest fee MUST be paid. The fee is $7 for the first 3 visits, then for the 4th-6th visit, they will have to pay additional Y day fee of $15 PLUS $7 for tennis guest fee...which is a TOTAL of $22.
A program-Y member is only allowed to come 6 times through out the year, unless get approval by the Tennis Director, Steve Faulkner.
Y members but WITHOUT the tennis add on will only have to pay $7 each time they decide to come and play. We highly encourage them to add tennis to membership if they come to play at least twice a month.
Tennis guests must be playing with a Y Tennis member, can't have 2 guest or 4 guests by themselves on the court without a tennis member.
