Traditional Camps
Traditional camps are held every week. Campers will expereince the adventure and excitement of fun activities, meet new friends,and express their growing independence under the supervison of qualified and caring YMCA camp staff. Camp activites include games, sports, field trips, crafts,skits, swimming, water actvites and much more.

BACK TO SCHOOL FUN DAYS!!!

$20 Members
$35 Non-members
*Monday we will go to the Movies!
*Tuesday we will stay here!!
*Bring your lunch both days. Snack is included!
Children need to bring: Tennis shoes, socks, Swimsuit and a towel!!!!

We will be having Whataburger and Coldstone on Friday, July 30th. The cost is $7 cash and all lunch order forms are due by the morning of Thursday, July 29!!!

Special field Trips for 2010
Field trips are always fun activities during the summer. Our program allows participants to enjoy a wide variety of fun trips that are included into the weekly price. However, we do also a few special field trips at an additonal fee. These trips are not mandatory, but are always a lot of fun for your children. Specialty Camps Information
Specialty camps are offered on the weeks listed below. They are concentrated on specific interests, and differ from our traditional camps. Each camp has a specific theme, and will focus specifically on that theme. Spaces are limited! Registration for these camps will not begin until February 1st! Please call 655-5644 for more details!
Water Palooza Camp:
Details: Week of July 26th- July 30th. Entering 4th-8th grade. Participants will go to Springvalley Beach, Whitewater, and Hargis. Cost will be: $70 members Tues-thurs
$85 non Tues-thurs
Daily rates are available for those who wish to participate in regular camp on Monday and Friday!
JR. Ultimate Exploration Camp:
Details: Week of June 7th- June 11th. For those entering 1st- 3rd grade. Participants will be involved in the Ultimate Exploration camp at the McWayne Center. Campers will spend each morning at the mcwane center unlocking their imagination with some hands on science fun. Topics will include earth science, physics, crazy chaotic chemistry, oceanography and animals. Lunch is provided daily with this camp. Campers will spend their afternoons swimming and playing games at the YMCA, Birmingham
Cost will be: $161 members
$241 nonmembers
Ultimate Exploration Camp:

No boys allowed in this camp. Teaming up with sweet and Sassy in Hoover, this fun new camp for girls only will be full of several girl activities. Campers will spend 4 mornings at sweet and sassy learning about manners, etiquette, fashion, inner beauty, hair and more. This week will end with a spa on Friday. Campers will be treated too mini facials, hand treatments, and more! Campers will spend their afternoons at the YMCA doing traditional camp activates including swimming
Cost will be: $151 members
$226 nonmembers

Details: Week of July 19th- July 23rd. Entering 4th -7th grade

2010 Summer Day Camp Swim Lessons!!
If you are interested in your child taking swim lessons at the YMCA this summer, please utilize the special Summer Day Camp 2010 swim lessons. It is important that you use these special times for Summer Day Campers so that any other swim lesson times will not interfere with camp time!
