Abdominals 15 minutes:
15 minutes of intense abdominal exercise
Body Pump
The original barbell workout that strengthens the entire body. Challenges all major muscle groups.... great music! This class can be modified for beginners.
Boot Camp
One hour of easy to follow intense moves geared toward a total overall body workout... think "old school" P.E. class. Jumping Jacks, squats, lunges, pushups, planks, jump rope, jogging/running, etc. This class can be modified for beginners
Interval Muscle Works:
A toning class that includes the use of hand weights and blasts of cardio. The cardio portion or intervals last between 5 and 10 minutes and are followed by toning exercises that conditions the upper and lower body.
Sport Yoga
This is a yoga class that has an athletic spin on most of the poses. The poses will be held a little longer than in a regular yoga class. Ideal class for tennis and golf players. This class is ideal for maintaining flexibility and conditioning the muscles.
Kickboxing
Punch and kick your way to fitness in this class. High energy, upper body workout, as well as lower body. This class provides balance and coordination and can be modified for beginners.
Cycle/Core
Thirty to forty minutes on the cycle for a great cardio workout, followed by 15 to 20 minutes of core work which focuses on strength and conditioning the back and abdominal muscles. A five minute stretch ends this total overall body workhout..
Cycle/Circuit
Exercise is performed on the Star Trac cycles as well as the floor, step, etc. The exercises performed off the cycle consists of low and high impact aerobics and weights for the upper and lower body. These are timed intervals. For example: one song on the cycle, one song on the floor. Medium to high intensity but can be modified for beginners.
PiYo
Piyo is a 45 minute (possbily a little longer) class that combines both Pilates and Yoga moves in one great workout. You will feel the effects of core strengthening work and overall flexibility. This class is ideal for all fitness levels.
H20:
An invigorating workout in the pool for swimmer and non-swimmer alike; it is a total body non-weight bearing workout for every member.
Muscle Works:
A toning class that isolates and conditiions upper and lower body muscle groups. Hand weights, mats and resistance bands are provided for this non-aerobic workout.
Pilates/Yoga Revolution:
The balanced body approach to Pilates conditioning incorporates the whole body. Classes are designed to increase each participant's body awareness, focusing on using the body's core or center as the foundation of movement. It elongates, strengthens and stretches the muscles, creating a long lean muscle. The added benefit of incorporating Sports Yoga with this class helps the participant with balance and flexibility.
Zumba
Fun and easy to follow dance class for everyone! Each song consists of approximately three to four "movements" which are repeated throughout the song.
Cycle Class:
All exercises performed on Star Trac cycles. Intense cardio and leg (concentrating on quadriceps and hamstrings) workout. The work includes, sitting, sprinting, jumps and hill work.
Step:
Members step up and down on a platform that is adjustable in height, using step patterns that move the participants around the platform in creative ways.
Step Combo:
The best of step moves, combined with high/low aerobics and/or muscle works.
SilverSneakers:
Low impact, toning, range of motion, some exercise performed in a chair.
