SUMMER CAMP 2010
Welcome to Summer Camp 2010. Let's Play...Seriously
Registration will open on February 1, 2010.
Welcome to the Northeast Branch Summer Camp Program! We are looking forward to a wonderful, safe, and memorable summer with your children. Please peruse the following information and make sure you take a look at our new Specialty Camps for 2010.
Weekly Themes & Field Trips
Each week has a special theme in which our camp activities are designed around. Each week will end with a special Skit performed by all age groups in order to compete for the Spirit Stick!
Additionally, your child will participate in at least one field trip per week. The field trips are not included in your weekly fees. An additional cost of $10.00 per week will be assessed and must be paid along with your childcare fees.

Enrollment Packets and Forms
In order for your registration to be complete, an enrollment packet must be turned into the YMCA before your child attends camp. If your child’s weekly fees are paid through Childcare Central and/or DHR, we must have the appropriate paperwork from those agencies BEFORE the child is allowed to attend camp. Additionally, a copy of your child’s immunization form (Blue Form) MUST be on file PRIOR to your child attending camp. All necessary forms are listed below and will be downloaded in PDF format.
Registration Forms will be available for downloading beginning February 1, 2010.
Camp Locations and Hours
Our camp programs are based out of the Northeast YMCA, with many camps traveling off-site for activities. Please check the individual camp descriptions for off-site locations.
Drop off and pick up for all camps will occur in the parking lot at the YMCA. All campers, EXCEPT FUN CLUB, can be dropped off between 7:00 am-8:45 am. and must be picked up between 3:30 - 6:00p.m. Fun Club Campers can be dropped off no earlier than 8:45 a.m. and must be pick up no later than 3:00 p.m. Our camp day starts promptly at 9:00am. Failure to arrive on time could result in your child missing out on fun camp activities and possibly missing a bus to an off-site location. After 9:00 a.m., it is the parent/guardian’s responsibility to take their child to their group’s location if they are away from the YMCA.
Summer Camp Parent Orientation
Our Summer Camp Parent Orientation is designed to give you an opportunity to meet your child's Counselors and other staff who will be actively involved in assuring your child is having a safe, fun, and memorable experience at the YMCA. You will also be given vital information regarding the format of our camp and encouraged to ask any questions you may have. We have one more parent orientation meeting.
Thursday, May 27, 2010, at 6:00 p.m.
We hope to see you there!

Which camp do I sign up for?
We recommend registering for our Traditional Camp Programs which are designed for specific age groups and are a great experience for new and returning campers. Please refer to the highlighted field trip for the specific age group of each week to help you make your decision. As your child attends camp throughout the summer, we recomment registering your child in a variety of camps to expose them to new and different possibilities. Take a look at our Specialty, Sports, and Aquatic Camps below for other wonderful camp experiences.
