Dance Fitness
We now offer 2 forms of dance fitness; Hype Rhythm Nation and Zumba. Join Stephanie every Mon. and Wed. at 6:35pm for our "Hype" class based on hip-hop dance movement. Anne Marie is our Zumba instructor every Sun. at 4:30pm. This class is inspired by latin based dance.
Horizontal 101
We are now offering a 30 minute Horizontal 101 class Sundays @ 3:30PM. Join our instructors to build upper body and core muscles in this introductory class to our regular Horizontal Conditioning.

Classic:
aerobics is tailored to the senior member or anyone wanting a lighter workout. The aerobic portion consists of low impact movement for 30 minutes, with the remainder of the class consisting of strength, abdominal and flexibility work.

PILATES REFORMER SESSIONS:
We offer private and group pilates reformer sessions Mon.-Fri. Please contact Mary at 445-2824 or mcasciaro@ymcabham.org for session days and times. All sessions by appointment only.
Receive a free 1 hr. introductory session, then session fees vary depending on the size of the reformer group.

Classic Plus
is a 90 min. class consisting of 3 formats, cardio, core strengthening,and flexibility. This class is designed to meet the needs of the beginner or older participant.
ABS:
is a 15 min. class consisting of pure abdominal work, either using the abdominal musles as the primary mover or as the stabilizing muscles for the extremities.
Cardioenergy:
utilizes traditional high and low impact movement, giving you a great old fashioned cardiovascular workout. Instructors will give modifications for participants wanting less impact on the joints.
Extreme Conditioning
is a step above our general MuscleWorks classes. This class is extremely challenging and not for the beginner. Participants will perform multi-faceted exercises that will require your entire body to execute as opposed to muscle isolation.
Interval Step:
is a challenging class that will pump your heart rate up, then bring it back down to a lower recovery working phase. The frequent starts and stops of interval training allow the body to increase the amount of stress it can handle, and improve its ability to recover.
MuscleWorks:
is a non-cardio class designed to improve overall strength and endurance of all muscle groups with the use of free weights, body bars, balls and one's own body weight.
Pilates:
is a mat class based on the exercises of Josef Pilates. Classes are designed to increase each participants awareness, focusing on using the body's core as the foundation for movement. Exercises are designed to elongate and strengthen the muscles, as well as improve posture, back and abdominal strength and stability.
Step:
is a high energy class that accomodates all fitness levels. Combination movements using arm and legs silmultaneously while stepping up and down on an adjustable platform provides an excellent workout.
Step Circuit:
has you getting on and off the step throughout the class for short intervals to perform either strength or another type of cardiovascular work.
Step Combo:
can be taught with basic hi/lo movement and a portion of step, or in a boot camp fashion, depending on the instructor.
20/20/20:
utilizes three different exercise formats, traditionally some step, hi/lo and strength.
Yoga
is an alternative way to improve strength, balance and flexibility with the utilization of traditional yoga poses.
20/20/20
utilizes 3 different types of activity, usually some step, hi/lo and strength work.
Zumba
latin inspired dance fitness.
Hype Rhythm Nation
A dance fitness class based on hip-hop movement.
