Monday:
Private Yoga Sessions
We are now offering private and small group yoga sessions. This is great for those individuals with special needs or areas they would like to focus on. The cost is $45/hr. Please contact Renae McCullough at rmccullough@ymcabham.org for more information.
H.I.I.T (High Intensity Interval Taining)
This is a class of intense interval training with each participant working at their own fitness level. No coordination or choreography involved; but do expect bursts of cardiovascular interval training and segments of strength training in each class.
CARDIO CRAZY
45 minutes of hi/lo cardio aerobics for all fitness levels. You will NOT get bored in this one!
ZUMBA!
Have the time of your life in this Latin choreographed dance aerobics class! This class is for ALL levels - you won't even know you are exercising!
CRUNK FITNESS
Have a blast while you slim & tone your body with a fun, energetic hip-hop dance workout! The great thing about this class is that the instructor breaks it down and truly teaches it, so even those with no dance experience "get it" and are having fun!
TURBO STRENGTH
This is a great mixture of TurboKick, cardio exercises and strength work! You will get it all in this class!
METABOLIC STRENGTH
Cardio & strength circuit in which you may use tools, toys and props in timed interval sessions. This class will be taught on 3 different levels to offer options for all fitness levels!
CORE CONDITIONING
This 45 minute class will include the use of one's own body weight for abdominal and overall total body workout. Light weights and equipment may be used. Options wil be offered. This class is best suited for intermediate to well-conditioned individuals.
HARD CORE & MORE
1 hr class - Extreme core work for 15 min, cardio for 20 min, core for 15 min and STRETCH! Great for ALL LEVELS wanting a "hard core" workout!
STRETCH
This is a 20 minute stretch class for all! Great time to let your muscles relax and focus on flexibility. Ideally, this would follow a workout or at least come in with your body "warm" so the muscle will relax & stretch easily.
FAB ABS:
15 minutes of only gut wrenching abdominal work.
TURBO STEP:
One hour of advanced step at its best!
CLASSIC AEROBICS:
This is a 45-minute, low impact aerobics class. This is a great class for beginners and advanced; all options will be given.
MUSCLE WORKS:
A toning class that isolates and conditions upper and lower body muscle groups. Hand weights are provided for this intense NON-AEROBIC workout.
Muscle Works EXTREME adds a little more movement and intensity to the traditional muscle works class.
Muscle 30 is a 30 minute large muscle group workout!
PILATES:
Classes are designed to increase each participant's body awareness, focusing on using the body's center as the foundation of movement. Exercises are also designed to elongate and strengthen the muscles creating a longer, leaner look, as well as increasing strength. Pilates 101 is a beginner to intermediate level class and Pilates is an intermediate to advanced level class.
PILATES REFORMER TRAINING:
The Reformer machines are used to assist the person in the pilates movements. Reformer classes are available through private and small group classes.

PIYO
PiYo is a 45 minute class that combines both Pilates and Yoga moves in one great workout. You will feel the effects of core strengthening work and overall flexibility stretches. This class is ideal for all fitness levels.
POWER PILATES 30
This is a 30 minute, advanced pilates class (aka the last portion of the Cycle/Fusion class). Members are invited to join in this powerful class of core stretgthening; but please come to class warmed up and ready to go. Some of the members have been on a bike for 45 minutes prior to the pilates portion of the class.
STEP:
Find out why STEP has maintained its popularity for such a long time. Members will step up and down on a platform that is adjustable from 4"-12", utilizing step patterns that will move them all around the platform in a creative way.
STEP CIRCUIT:
You will be getting on and off the step throughout the class for short intervals of time performing different activities utilizing either strength moves or cardiovascular work.
STEP CHALLENGE
This step class offers MUCH choreography and MANY combinations! If you're an avid stepper, this class is for YOU! Lori does a great job of breaking down the choreography for all level participants to learn.
CYCLE:
Take the ride of your life with a 60 minute indoor cycling experience that puts a new spin on group exercise. This fitness adventure focuses on the cardiovascular benefits of cycling, enhanced by the motivation of a skilled instructor.
Cycle 45 indicates the length of the class.
CYCLE CIRCUIT & CYCLE BLAST
CIRCUIT - This is a one-hour cylce class with strength training intervals throughout the class. You may be on and off the bike during this fun-filled ride!
BLAST - 30 minutes of cycling followed by 30 minutes of strength work in the large group ex room.
CYCLE/PILATES FUSION:
What a great combination...45 minutes of cycle and 30 minutes of pilates. This ADVANCED - 75 minute class starts in the cycle room and finishes in the pilates room.
WATER:
An alternative way to improve strength, balance and flexibility with the utilization of traditional yoga postures and deep breathing methods.
FUNCTIONAL FITNESS
This one hour class focuses on core, strength and cardio exercises for beginning to advanced participants. This all-in-one class format varies from day to day; but you're sure to get a good all-around workout. This class is a WAVE workout, much like your body lives (heart rate is steady, then up, then steady again).
TURBO KICK:
High energy and fast paced...you're sure to punch and kick your way through a fabulous workout!
TURBOKICK EXTREME is a 75 minute class with cardio & strength intervals...can get pretty intense...but there are always advanced and modified options! Tons of fun!
SILVER SNEAKERS:
Silver Sneakers is an exercise class tailored specifically for seniors or those wanting a low-impact, modified form of exercise. Light hand weights, resistance tubing, weighted balls and chairs will be provided for each participant. Silver Sneakers I & II are offered; II being a more advanced class for the participant.
SS Yoga Stretch is a 75 minute class. The first 45 minutes is a regular Silver Sneakers class. The last 30 minutes is decoted to chair yoga and stretching.
YOGA:
An alternative way to improve your strength, balance and flexibility with the utilization of a variety of yoga postures and deep breathing techniques. This 60 minute class will leave you feeling strong, yet relaxed and stress-free.
ADV Yoga is a 75 minute class.
ASHTANGA Yoga is a 60 min class. This method of Yoga involves synchronizing the breath with progressive series of postures - a process that produces intense internal heat and a purifying sweat that detoxifies the muscles and organs. The result is improved circulation, a light and strong body, and a calm mind.
Boot Camp
This is a high-energy, sport specific training class that includes interval training, plyometrics and sport-specific conditioning moves to enhance overall strength, speed and aerobic conditioning.
Boot Camp 45 indicates 45 minutes in length.
