Definitions
Family Membership (Family 2 and Family 3+) - The Birmingham YMCA defines a family membership as a husband/wife and dependent children currently claimed on their income tax statements up to 25 years old. The Birmingham YMCA has the right to confirm family membership status. Family 2 can be a parent and one dependent child or siblings where both qualify under the age requirement.

Senior Membership - one member must be 62 years or over.

Young Adult Membership - individual membership for 16 - 25 year old

Citywide Membership - access to all branches in the Birmingham YMCA

Small Branch Membership - access to Vestavia, Northeast, Western and Alabaster program center only

Corporate Membership Information
The YMCA offers corporate membership plans to a wide variety of area business employees. Our online system cannot recognize certain join fees or company invoicing arrangements. We recommend that our corporate membership clients visit the branch of their choice to enroll. You can find a partial listing of our clients here.
