Fitness and Nutrition- Catch: Coordinated Approach to Child Health brings fitness and nutrition education to every afterschool care student masquerading as games.

 Daily Routine

When afterschoolers arrive, they will get a snack then they will have a download time where they will get to play Wii, gym games, or outside activities. At 3:50 p.m afterschoolers will have an assembly. At 4:00 p.m afterschoolers will break up into their groups and participate in a variety of activities such as catch games, art and crafts, sports, fitness fun, Wii games and much more. We also offer a supervised homework area and we swim every Friday. At the Trussville YMCA, afterschoolers have the opportunity to participate in a variety of fun theme activities. We have tournaments, monthly parties, and Fun Fridays.
