Swim Birmingham YMCA is a year round swim team offering training for beginners though seniors.
SBY’s certified coaches will:
dramatically improve your child’s swimming ability,
while maintaining the YMCA’s focus on positive character values; caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.
SBY is also the most convenient and economical swim team in town with practice locations from Trussville to Pelham.
To participate with SBY your child must be evaluated by a Swim Birmingham YMCA Coach. Please note that Group placement will be done by a Swim Birmingham YMCA Coach.

Program fees do not include meet entry fees.
A non-refundable registration fee is required at the time of registration and is NOT included in the total program fee listed above. The registration fee covers the cost membership with USA Swimming, a team cap, team t-shirt, meet tattoos, and various administrative costs.
Bank drafts are paid in September's draft amount must be paid at the time of registration and the monthly bank drafts begin in October and ends in Dec. Bank draft is not available at all practice sites. Contact the Aquatics Director at your practice site for more information. Financial assistance is available for program fees.
