Strength Training

The purpose of the Teen Strength class is to educate youth ages 12-15 years old on weight lifting. This class covers basic physical fitness education; teaching safe lifting skills and proper workout techniques. After completion of this course, teens will be able to use the weight room area freely with adult supervision. All teens that complete this course will be set up on our Fitlinxx system and given a one hour orientation on the equipment.
Classes are held on the third Monday or each month at 6PM. Classes are 90 minutes in length and each student will receive a certification card that should be presented for Fitlinxx registration and weight room use.
