Fit Camp 

Ready for intensity? Led by Danny Haralson, Micki Haralson, Steve Young, Julie Watters, and Nick Stallings on Monday/Wednesday/Friday, 5:30 a.m. and Monday/Wednesday12:00 p.m, Saturday 8:30 a.m.  This class may include TRX, boxing, traditional weight training and CrossFit type training to challenge your body and mind.  You may meet ion basketball court, in fitness area, outside, or bank parking lot.  Come prepared to work and have fun!  For more information contact danny@rununiversity.com, mickiharalson@gmail.com, aidynmaddux@gmail.com (Steve), movewithjulie@yahoo.com, nickstallings@gmail.com or lhart@ymcabham.org, 870-0144.

YCross

YCross utilizes different equipment and body weight exercises for a very intense workout that includes strength and cardio.  They take place in the weight room, functional training room, basketball court or outside if weather permits.   Segments are timed or reps counted providing an aspect of competition with yourself or friends if you like.  Personal Trainers/CrossFit Certified Nick Stallings, and Steve Young are instructors.  One-on-one and group training may be arranged.  Contact Nick at 531-7194, Steve 337-3262, or Lisa Hart 445-2823, lhart@ymcabham.org.

Friday Boot Camp

Kinesis 

Kinesis liberates the exercise regime from the constraints of the cable-and-pulley machine.  Four panels of grips, cables, and weight stacks allow for 360 degree, three-dimensional, resistance-based, multiplane motion.  The Kinesis design was to accommodate multi-plane movement patterns without compromising the resistance load.  This new innovative program will introduce a new way to exercise in gravity with resistance, exalting balance, and flexibility within a movement progression system.  It can also enhance the movements of classic forms of exercise such as Pilates and Yoga and can assist in sports training and rehabilitation therapy.

One Hour Kinesis

Kinesis for Dummies

Ever thought, "what is Kinesis"? FREE every first Sunday, Julie Watters will take the mystique out of Kinesis, 2:00 p.m.  You will learn that it is fun, safe, and accessible when you join her for a 15 minute "open house".

**Form your own group!  Some combinations are unbeatable.  If know some people with similar fitness goals who prefer to work out together, then ask me about a specialty movement program designed just for you.  Reserve your spot for 4, 6, or 8 weeks, and then renew at the sessions close if you can't get enough.  Remember to sign up before coming!  If you need to cancel, just let me know 24 hours ahead of time so we can make room for others. 

Pilates Reformer

The pilates reformer is a machine with a moving carriage attached to cables and springs that can be adjusted for each participant.  A variety of exercises can be performed on the reformer, each one designed to recruit stability from deep within the core.  Participants will experience improved body awareness and posture as they practice, along with increased flexibility and balance.  We offer reformer training on an individual basis, or in a small group or 2, 3, or 4 people.  Sessions are one hour in duration and are by appointment only.  Please contact Mary Casciaro at 445-2824 or mcasciaro@ymcabham.org to set up your free introductory session now.
