FitKids 

Steve Mulvihill will lead 4, 45 minute sessions for kids ages 10-13 to orient on fitness equipment.  Classes meet on Tuesday evenings at 5:00 p.m. Upon completion of the FitKids strength and conditioning program, participants will receive a name tag that identifies them and allows them to work out on cardiovascular and Cybex/Hoist weight machines as long as a parent is on the premises.  Contact Steve, 214-395-7006 stevemulvihill@gmail.com  or 870-0144.  Sign up at least 24 hours in advance to attend.

Fuel + Fitness

This is a complete program for shaping up!  So many people focus only on exercise or only on what they eat.  That's all well and good, but the most successful approach to making a lasting, permanent change is to address both sides of the equation: what to eat and how to exercise.  This program does that.  It teaches you how to eat and also gives you an exercise plan tailored to your individual needs.

Sandra Koulourides is our nutritionist and a fitness specialist who has worked as a registered dietician for ten years.  She has also taught group exercise classes for over twenty years.  Sandra's focus is on sports nutrition and wellness.

EatFit Nutrition & Fitness for Kids

Eatfit is designed to help children and teens at risk for being overweight to learn how to make healthy eating choices, make activity a daily part of their lives, and teaches kids how to fuel their bodies for optimal health and weight management.  eatfit teaches kids and their families how to fuel their bodies for optimal health, combined with fun, vigorous play and exercise, kids learn exciting ways to play their way to a healthier life.  This is an 8 week program and includes a YMCA membership during the program.

Nutritional Guidance: Activity led by a nationally certified YMCA personal trainer.  Fee is $350 for members, $400 for non members  **Financial Assistance is available.
